eudora-mailEudora is an email client that allows users to manage business related email accounts. Qualcomm acquired it, and it can manage multiple emails, news feeds, and newsgroup accounts. In Eudora, it stores emails in .mbx format.

Steps Involved in Location MBX File in Eudora

You can generally find the profile folders location in the following format:

For Windows XP and Later OS Versions

  • Select start menu and choose run option from it.
  • Enter the command “%appdata%\Qualcomm\Eudora” in the search bar and press enter.
  • Select folder from the list of options displayed.

You can locate the mailboxes directly as well using the below path:

c:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application data\Qualcomm\Eudora Folder.

Note: The above location may vary as per the Windows OS you are using. Sometimes, folders may be hidden, so you need to enable the option to show hidden files and folders on your machine.

Within Eudora folder you will find many mailboxes with .mbx file extension. These files will be as In.mbx, Out.mbx or Trash.mbx and contains all your data so all you need it these file even if they are with or without extension.

Once you locate MBX files you can easily convert these files into any of the format you desire.
